Library
In partnership with the Borough's Library Service, Grange Hill House offers a large-print selection of reading material. The local Mobile Library visits regularly to exchange titles. In addition, Grange Hill House also has its own varied selection of books.
Mini-bus
A mini-bus with a tailgate lift for wheelchairs is regularly used for day trips and visits, with a trained first-aider always on board.
Hairdresser
A qualified hair stylist, who charges a reasonable rate, visits Grange Hill House twice weekly to ensure residents continue to feel good about the way their hair looks.
Health
Those who make Grange Hill House their home may remain with their own GP, register with the Group's visiting Doctor or any other physician. Weekly surgeries are held in-house. Arrangements can be made should any resident need a Community Nurse. Chiropody, dentistry and ophthalmic services are offered to all residents.
Worship
The Staff at Grange Hill House are happy to liaise with local Religious Centres within the area to ensure each resident's spiritual needs are fulfilled. Local Christian churches visit regularly to offer communion.
Visitors
Family and friends are most welcome to visit residents at all times (preferably avoiding mealtimes).
Friends of Grange Hill House
Friends and relatives of residents have the opportunity to join Friends of Grange Hill House. The Group organises a variety of events including an annual Summer Garden Party and Christmas Fair.
